Bayern and Rangers unimpressive at home in UEFA Cup

Two of the favored sides to conquer the UEFA Cup this season were mediocre in the first leg of the UEFA Cup semifinals.

Bayern Munich, the team we’re all cheering for here since we have a good supply of their gear, are poised to win the treble, since they won the German Cup on the weekend, and are one win away from taking the Bundesliga. Yet they’ll have to do it in St. Petersburg, a place which won’t be friendly to Germans. Check your history as to the why on that one. Yet, Bavarian fans, take heart: Bayern faced the same dilemma heading to Madrid to face Getafe after a 1-1 home draw, and they got some extra time magic to pull that one out. Give Die Rotten your support by getting the all-white away kit, on sale now at a reduced price, along with an all-white training jacket. The Scottish club Rangers welcomed Italy’s Fiorentina and neither team could manage a goal. Similar to Bayern, however, the Gers are okay with winning on the road, as they took out Sporting in Portugal a fortnight ago. So, this should set up an interesting clash of two teams with lots to play for. We don’t have much Rangers gear now, but there’re a few items that are a must for fans of Scotland’s most winning team.

As for Fiorentina, we have a decent supply of the their official purple home soccer jersey made by Lotto, and with the great form La Viola have been showing in Serie A and Europe, this shirt is one you’re going to want to remember.
