We can't show you this collection of 10 Official adidas World Cup Matchballs until October 19th (mark your calendars!), but our adidas representative, former NASL player, Adrian Brooks, brought a sample of the collection with him to our Birmingham office. After the 1966 World Cup, Adi Dassler, founder of adidas, decided to create a special soccer ball which would be ideal for television, still fairly new at the time.
