Direct from Joma III: Pisa

Not the famous leaning tower, but Pisa Calcio. The Pisa Calcio Home Soccer Jersey & Short Kit.

This is perhaps the first time we've featured a kit for a club not in the top flight, as Pisa is in Italy's Serie B. Nevertheless, we're glad to have them on the site, especially as we've always thoroughly endeavored to bring as many clubs, big and small, popular and not so well-known, into our fold.

About the Kit

The Official Home Short Sleeved Soccer Jersey & Shorts Kit of Italy's Pisa Calcio by Joma. This uniform features blue and black striped team jersey with, and matching shorts. The jersey includes an embroidered team badge and placed Joma logo;
short features embroidered team badge and placed Joma logo, elastic waist, inner drawcord and 7" inseam. The quality kit is made of lightweight moisture-wicking fabric with mesh panels to keep you feeling fresh and energetic so you can go on cheering your team even after extra time.

About the Team

Based in Pisa, Tuscany, the club was founded in 1909 as Pisa Sporting Club and refounded in 1994 as A.C. Pisa. Under the presidency of the much-loved Romeo Anconetani, for whom their home ground is currently named, Pisa returned to Serie B in 1979, and were promoted to Serie A in 1982, embarking on a period of six out of nine seasons in Serie A. They also won the Mitropa Cups, in 1985 and 1988. With Danish international Klaus Berggreen among their stars, Pisa managed a credible 11th place in the 1982-83 Serie A with 27 points and 27 goals scored and conceded in 30 games.
